I was elected Student Guild President, and I’ve had the opportunity to support other students and represent the student body.

As President, I’ve led the initiative to focus on community service, and we have been able to give back to our community. I’m so proud of everything I have achieved as President and everything that the entire student body has achieved.

Alfred North Whitehead said, ‘No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.’ I really appreciate all that Akilah has done to help me become the person I am today.

I am grateful for the opportunity to study at Akilah and to be part of the student government body in order to serve the Akilah community. I am certain that I am equipped with the right tools to positively impact my community and become a source of leadership for them.

I am grateful that through my Akilah education, I know what I want to do in the future: become a servant leader. I believe in the pillars of Akilah, because they will be the pillars of my career success.

Every day that I spend at Akilah, I become a better leader. Now I have the confidence for people to learn from me and I know I am ready to serve people all over the world.

Akilah has helped me improve my confidence and professionalism. I never thought that I could create my own business and projects and present them to other people with so much confidence.

I am grateful that Akilah makes public speaking such an important part of my education. Akilah has equipped me with such important skills, and I get the opportunity to practice these every day in the classroom.

Akilah has helped me find my voice.
